Some Kinda Normal

Aaron is from Sharon, PA and is currently living in Morgantown, WV.  He has been playing drums since he was around 9 years old. It all started about 13 years ago when his brother got a drum set and let him play on it.  This eventually turned in to Aaron starting lessons later that year.  He is attending WVU for Music with an emphasis on Applied Percussion. Aaron is the heartbeat of Some Kinda Normal, and like every heart he wants to keep playing a beat!

Influences range from Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), to Stan Lynch (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), to Tico Torres (Bon Jovi), to Bernard Perdie (various), to Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown), and so many more that have impacted the way Aaron has approached the drums throughout the years.

Aaron's Why:

"My favorite part about playing live is when you can see how the music you are playing affects the people you are playing for. I love the way music makes you feel, and if I can make people feel good enough to get up and dance, sing along, or simply nod their heads or tap their foot, then I know I’ve done a good job."
